BTS kicked off their highly anticipated 'ARIRANG' world tour at Goyang Stadium in South Korea, debuting tracks from their new album and delivering a spectacular performance. Here's a recap of the opening night, including the setlist and fan reactions...

The K-Pop titans, BTS, have officially launched their massive 2026-2027 world tour, starting with a bang at Goyang Stadium in South Korea. This tour marks their grand return to live performances after three years, encompassing 79 shows across 34 regions, making it their most ambitious tour to date.
Prior to the tour's official commencement, BTS treated fans to a free concert in Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul, streamed live to over 190 countries via Netflix. The event drew an astounding 104,000 fans, setting a new record for the largest public concert ever held in South Korea.
That electrifying gig saw them debut new tracks from their album, ‘ARIRANG,’ including ‘Body to Body,’ ‘Hooligan,’ ‘2.0,’ and ‘Like Animals.’ Notably, RM performed seated for a significant portion of the set due to an ankle sprain sustained during rehearsals.
Now, the seven-member group has officially embarked on their tour, beginning with the first of three nights at Goyang Stadium. The opening night (April 9) featured a 23-song setlist, kicking off with the new tracks ‘Hooligans’ and ‘Aliens,’ followed by the classic ‘Run BTS.’
They continued with the live debuts of ‘They Don’t Know ‘Bout Us’ and ‘Merry Go Round’ in the first act, along with performances of ‘Like Animals,’ ‘SWIM,’ and ‘FAKE LOVE.’
The second act commenced with ‘2.0’ and ‘NORMAL,’ followed by the first performance of ‘Not Today’ since 2021 and the Steve Aoki remix of ‘MIC Drop.’
After favorites like ‘IDOL’ and ‘Body To Body,’ BTS transitioned into the encore, which included the first-ever live performances of ‘Come Over,’ ‘Please,’ and ‘Into The Sun,’ as well as the first rendition of ‘I Need U’ since 2021.
