BTS' 'ARIRANG' Dominates Billboard 200 for Second Week; Ye, Melanie Martinez & Yeat Debut in Top 5
BTS's ARIRANG maintains its stronghold on the Billboard 200 for a second week, while new albums from Ye, Melanie Martinez, and Yeat make impressive debuts in the top 5.

BTS' ARIRANG reigns supreme on the Billboard 200 albums chart (dated April 11) for a second consecutive week, racking up 187,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the week ending April 2, according to Luminate. While this represents a 71% drop from its monumental opening week of 641,000 units (the largest of 2026 so far), ARIRANG's second week at No. 1 gives it the distinction of having the most weeks atop the chart among BTS's seven leaders – the other six each held the position for a single week.
Also making waves in the top 10 of the latest Billboard 200 chart are the newest releases from Ye (formerly Kanye West), Melanie Martinez, and Yeat, all debuting within the coveted spots.
The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the U.S. based on multi-metric consumption, measured in equivalent album units and compiled by Luminate. These units comprise album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA), and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). Each unit equates to one album sale, ten individual tracks sold from an album, or 2,500 ad-supported or 1,000 paid/subscription on-demand official audio and video streams generated by songs from an album. The complete April 11, 2026-dated chart will be available on Billboard's website on April 7. For all the latest chart updates, follow @billboard and @billboardcharts on both X and Instagram.
Of ARIRANG's 187,000 equivalent album units earned in the most recent tracking week, album sales accounted for 114,000 (a 79% decrease, though still enough for No. 1 on Top Album Sales for a second week), SEA units contributed 65,000 (down 31%, equating to 68.49 million on-demand official streams of the album's songs; it slides from 1-3 on Top Streaming Albums), and TEA units made up 8,000 (a 49% decline).
Ye secures his 14th top 10 album on the Billboard 200 – remarkably, all of which have reached the top two – with BULLY debuting at No. 2 with 152,000 equivalent album units earned in the tracking week ending Thursday, April 2. Within that total, SEA units comprise 96,000 (representing 98.43 million on-demand official streams of the album's songs; it enters at No. 1 on Top Streaming Albums), album sales account for 56,000 (debuting at No. 3 on Top Album Sales), and TEA units make up the remaining portion.
The album was released at physical retailers on March 27 (on CD, vinyl, and cassette), and digitally on streaming services on March 28. On the same day, Ye released the music video for BULLY's "FATHER," featuring Travis Scott and directed by Bianca Censori.
During BULLY's release week, Ye held his first major U.S. concert in almost five years, performing at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA, on April 1. A second show at SoFi Stadium followed on Friday, April 3, a day after BULLY's initial chart tracking week concluded.
First-week sales of BULLY were boosted by its availability in a range of colored vinyl variants, deluxe boxed sets featuring branded merchandise and a copy of the CD, as well as signed vinyl and CD editions.
Melanie Martinez achieves her fourth top 10 album on the Billboard 200 with HADES landing at No. 3 with 84,000 equivalent album units earned. Of that sum, album sales comprise 63,000 (debuting at No. 2 on Top Album Sales), SEA units comprise 21,000 (equaling 22.85 million on-demand official streams of the album's songs; it debuts at No. 28 on Top Streaming Albums), and TEA units make up a negligible amount.
Martinez previously reached the top 10 on the Billboard 200 with PORTALS (No. 2 in 2023), K-12 (No. 3, 2019), and Cry Baby (No. 6, 2015).
HADES' first-week sales were supported by its availability across various vinyl and CD variants, deluxe boxed set editions containing branded merchandise and a copy of the physical album, and signed vinyl and CD editions.
Morgan Wallen’s chart-topping I’m the Problem slips 3-4 on the Billboard 200 with 76,000 equivalent album units earned (a decrease of less than 1%).
Yeat earns his seventh top 10 album on the Billboard 200 with ADL arriving at No. 5 with 57,000 equivalent album units earned. Of that sum, album sales comprise 26,000 (debuting at No. 4 on Top Album Sales), SEA units comprise 31,000 (equaling 32.53 million on-demand official streams of the album's songs; it debuts at No. 12 on Top Streaming Albums), and TEA units comprise a negligible amount.
