Bumbershoot 2026: Turnstile, Death Cab for Cutie, and Bikini Kill to Headline Seattle Festival
Turnstile, Death Cab for Cutie, and Bikini Kill are set to headline Bumbershoot 2026 in Seattle this Labor Day weekend. The festival boasts a diverse lineup across two days at the Seattle Center.
Turnstile, Death Cab for Cutie, and Bikini Kill are set to take over Seattle this Labor Day weekend for Bumbershoot 2026.
The two-day festival will take place Sept. 5 and 6 at the Seattle Center, with Turnstile headlining night one and Seattle’s own Death Cab for Cutie closing out night two. Day one of the festival will also feature performances from Japanese Breakfast, Blood Orange, Bikini Kill, Chase & Status, and more.
On day two, Death Cab for Cutie will be joined by artists such as Yves Tumor, Orville Peck, Sudan Archives, Noname, De La Soul, and Tokimonsta. A complete lineup is available on the festival's website.
Turnstile's appearance at Bumbershoot comes as they continue to tour in support of their celebrated album, Never Enough, released last year. Their 2026 touring schedule is packed with festival appearances, including upcoming sets at Coachella, Kilby Block Party, Bonnaroo, Osheaga, Lollapalooza, Outside Lands, and Shaky Knees Festival.
Death Cab for Cutie, meanwhile, are gearing up to release their new album, I Built You a Tower, on June 5. This marks their 11th studio album and their first in four years, following 2022’s Asphalt Meadows. The band will embark on a North American tour this summer, starting July 10 in Minneapolis and concluding Aug. 9 at Outside Lands, followed by a European tour in September.
Along with Death Cab, Bumbershoot’s lineup includes hometown heroes Bikini Kill (technically from Olympia, Washington, but close enough). The riot grrrl legends, who reunited in 2019 and last toured in 2024, have several shows scheduled this year, including a set at Oakland’s Mosswood Meltdown festival in July, and a proper tour kicking off in September, right after Bumbershoot.
