Charli XCX Walks the Runway to Hell in New Video for "SS26"
Charli XCX unveils "SS26," a fashion-forward single with a chaotic visual directed by Torso, featuring cameos from Carine Roitfeld and Abra.
Charli XCX is back, serving high fashion with a side of apocalypse in her new single, “SS26.” The track arrives with a visually arresting video directed by Torso (“Von Dutch”), plunging viewers into the frenetic world of a major fashion show.
The video kicks off with a cameo from former Vogue Paris editor-in-chief Carine Roitfeld, who delivers the line, “Fashion won’t save us. But let’s go on the runway and walk.” Abra also makes an appearance, adding to the star-studded affair.

Charli first teased “SS26” on Substack, hinting at lyrics or a fashion-capsule manifesto. The final track dives into celebrity culture and global issues, set against a backdrop of high fashion during what seems to be the end of the world. The video showcases Charli in various looks, including a Sex and the City-esque runway stumble and a dressing room explosion.
“SS26” follows “Rock Music,” her first solo single since the Brat era, and “I Keep On Thinking Bout You Every Single Day and Night,” a vinyl-exclusive track. Her companion album to Emerald Fennell’s Wuthering Heights was released earlier this year.
