Drake Breaks Billboard Records with Three New Albums
Drake shatters records on the Billboard Hot 100 and 200 charts with the release of Iceman, Habibti, and Maid of Honour, surpassing Michael Jackson and equaling Taylor Swift.
Drake has once again cemented his place in music history, setting new Billboard Hot 100 chart records with his recent release of three albums: Iceman, Habibti, and Maid of Honour.
The Toronto rapper placed a staggering 42 songs on the Hot 100, surpassing Morgan Wallen’s previous record of 37 songs. Iceman, Habibti, and Maid of Honour collectively feature 43 tracks, leaving one song out of the Hot 100.
His track “Janice STFU” debuted at Number One on the Hot 100, marking Drake’s 14th chart-topper. This achievement allows him to surpass Michael Jackson as the male solo artist with the most Number One singles in Hot 100 history.
“Janice STFU” was one of nine songs Drake placed in the Top 10 of the Hot 100, alongside tracks like “Ran to Atlanta” with Future and Molly Santana, “Whisper My Name,” “Shebang,” and “National Treasures.” These nine tracks extended Drake’s record of total songs to crack the Top 10 of the Hot 100 to 90.
Despite Drake’s impressive showing, Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” held strong at Number Five.
Complementing his Hot 100 success, Drake also dominated the Billboard 200 albums chart. Iceman, Habibti, and Maid of Honour secured the top three spots, making Drake the first artist to achieve this feat. Iceman is Drake’s 15th Number One album, tying him with Taylor Swift for the most by a solo artist. The Beatles still lead among all artists with 19.
