Drake Dominates Billboard 200: First Artist to Hold Top 3 Spots Simultaneously
Drake makes history by claiming the top three spots on the Billboard 200 chart with his latest album releases, Iceman, Habibti, and Maid of Honour.

Earlier this month, Drake surprised fans with a triple album drop, unleashing Iceman, Habibti, and Maid of Honour on May 15th. This ambitious release strategy has paid off in a major way.
Billboard reports that Drake has achieved a historic feat: he's the first artist to simultaneously hold the No. 1, 2, and 3 spots on the Billboard 200 chart since its consistent weekly publication began in 1956.
This achievement isn't without a touch of irony. In 2009, after Michael Jackson's death, his albums should have occupied the top three slots based on sales. However, Billboard rules at the time prevented older albums from being factored into the weekly charts, denying Jackson this posthumous honor.
Iceman, Habibti, and Maid of Honour are Drake's first solo albums since 2023's For All the Dogs. Notably, this release follows the high-profile feud with Kendrick Lamar, which reportedly influenced the Super Bowl LIX halftime show and even led Drake to pursue legal action against UMG, a dispute referenced across the new albums. The suit was later dismissed in October 2025.
He also released a joint album with longtime collaborator PartyNextDoor, $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, in 2025.
