Drake Dominates Billboard 200: First Artist to Hold Top Three Album Slots Simultaneously
Drake shatters records by claiming the top three spots on the Billboard 200 chart with his new albums ICEMAN, HABIBTI, and MAID OF HONOUR. This unprecedented feat marks a historic moment in music history.

Drake has etched his name in music history, achieving a feat never before seen on the Billboard 200 albums chart. His latest releases, ICEMAN, HABIBTI, and MAID OF HONOUR, have debuted at Nos. 1, 2, and 3 respectively, on the chart dated May 30.
This monumental achievement marks the first time any artist has simultaneously held the top three positions since the Billboard 200 began its regular weekly publications in March 1956.
All three albums dropped on Friday, May 15th, surprising fans and industry insiders alike.
ICEMAN also secures Drake his 15th No. 1 album, surpassing Jay-Z for the most No. 1s among solo male and R&B/hip-hop artists. He now ties with Taylor Swift for the most No. 1s among all soloists, with only The Beatles ahead, boasting a record 19 No. 1 albums.
While ICEMAN had been teased for months, the existence of HABIBTI and MAID OF HONOUR was only revealed during a livestream on May 14, just before their release.
ICEMAN debuted with 463,000 equivalent album units earned in the U.S. during the week ending May 21. This marks the second-largest week of 2026 for any album and the biggest for an R&B/hip-hop release. HABIBTI and MAID OF HONOUR launched with 114,000 and 110,000 units, respectively.
Also making waves in the top 10 is rapper LUCKI, who secures his first top 10 entry with Drgs R Bad* debuting at No. 9.
The Billboard 200 ranks the most popular albums in the U.S. each week based on multi-metric consumption, measured in equivalent album units compiled by Luminate. These units comprise album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA), and streaming equivalent albums (SEA).
ICEMAN's 463,000 equivalent album units include 449,000 SEA units (equaling 462.2 million on-demand official streams), 13,000 album sales (available only as a digital download), and 1,000 TEA units.
HABIBTI's 114,000 units consist of 108,000 SEA units (110.63 million on-demand official streams) and nearly 6,000 album sales.
MAID OF HONOUR's first-week total of 110,000 comprises 104,000 SEA units (105.48 million on-demand official streams) and 6,000 album sales.
Like ICEMAN, HABIBTI and MAID OF HONOUR were exclusively available as digital download albums.
As Drake dominates the top three spots on the Billboard 200, he becomes the first artist to achieve this since the chart began weekly publications in March 1956.
He is also only the third act to ever debut at Nos. 1 and 2 simultaneously.
Guns N’ Roses first achieved this with Use Your Illusion II and Use Your Illusion I on October 5, 1991. Nelly followed with Suit and Sweat on October 2, 2004. Before streaming, Michael Jackson had the top three-selling albums after his death in 2009, but catalog albums were excluded from the Billboard 200 at the time.
ICEMAN is Drake’s 15th No. 1 album, surpassing Jay-Z for the most among men and tying with Taylor Swift for the most among soloists. The Beatles lead overall with 19.
Drake now has 20 top 10 albums, surpassing Future (18) as the rap act with the most top 10s.
