Drake Drops Three Albums Simultaneously, Unleashes a Torrent of New Music Videos
Drake surprises fans with the simultaneous release of three albums – Iceman, Habibti, and Maid of Honour – alongside a series of visually striking music videos set in his hometown of Toronto.
Drake is back, not just with one, but three new albums! Following teases of Iceman, he surprised fans by dropping Habibti and Maid of Honour simultaneously. All three albums arrived as promised, marking a prolific output from the Toronto native.
But that's not all. Drake has also been busy filming a series of music videos, premiering several shorts during a live stream. These visuals, largely set in Toronto, have since landed on his YouTube page. Prepare for a visual feast – there are at least seven new Drake videos to dive into. And keep an eye out for an eighth, "Dust," featuring a grown-up Adonis Graham alongside Shane Gillis in a rather unconventional joyride.
The videos continue Drake's trend of ambient visuals. "Plot Twist" stands out with its narrative, showcasing Drake at an armed villa, racing across a ranch, visiting a strip club, and, naturally, holding a large gun. "Janice STFU" blends opulent restaurant scenes with a collection of vintage luxury cars, seemingly interpolating Lykke Li’s “I Follow Rivers”. "Little Birdie" features a dance performance for a strip club's staff, while "Burning Bridges" captures a lavish party. Visuals for "Slap the City," "National Treasures," and "Make Them Remember" have also been released.
