Dua Lipa and Tame Impala Unite for Surprise Performance at London's O2 Arena
Dua Lipa surprised fans by joining Tame Impala onstage at London's O2 Arena, performing "Houdini" and "After Thought."

On Thursday night, Dua Lipa made a surprise appearance during Tame Impala's show at London's O2 Arena, delighting the audience with a performance of two tracks.
Lipa joined Tame Impala's Kevin Parker mid-performance of their 2025 collaboration, "After Thought." Without any formal introduction, Lipa took the stage and immediately launched into the song's chorus. Following the performance, Parker introduced Lipa as his "good friend" before they transitioned into her 2024 hit, "Houdini."
"Let’s play a song that we made together!" Parker announced as they began the funk-infused track. He produced the majority of Lipa's Radical Optimism. "Her editing is brutal… I’d kind of recoil in horror and go, ‘Oh, no, it’s a great verse!'" Parker told Rolling Stone in 2024. "But then an hour later, we’d have something that I can’t imagine not being in the song,” he added, referring to the creation of “Houdini.” Lipa admitted she “was so nervous because I’m just such a fan of Kevin’s.”
The pair have shown mutual support. In 2024, Lipa invited Parker to join her headlining set at Glastonbury Festival. They performed "Houdini" and Tame Impala's "The Less I Know the Better." During her 2025 Radical Optimism tour, Parker also joined her onstage in Melbourne, Australia.
