Earl Sweatshirt and MIKE Announce Joint Australian and New Zealand Tour

Earl Sweatshirt and MIKE have announced a string of Australian and New Zealand dates this May, adding to their already anticipated performance at Sydney’s Vivid LIVE festival.

The tour kicks off on May 22 at Auckland’s Studio The Venue, followed by Melbourne’s The Timber Yard on May 23, and Brisbane’s The Tivoli on May 27. Their Sydney Opera House performance for Vivid LIVE is slated for May 24. Select dates will feature support from C.FRIM and Chef Chung. The presale begins March 26 at 8 a.m. AEDT, with general public access starting March 27 at 9 a.m. AEDT.

These shows are in support of POMPEII // UTILITY, a collaborative album by Earl Sweatshirt, MIKE, and the New York collective SURF GANG, set to drop on April 3 via 10k/Tan Cressida Records.

The double-disc project, highlighted by the single “Minty // Earth,” reunites two artists with a decade-long history of friendship and collaboration. Their previous works include “Allstar” from MIKE’s 2020 album Weight of the World and “Sentry” from Earl Sweatshirt and The Alchemist’s 2023 project VOIR DIRE.

Earl Sweatshirt, born Thebe Kgositsile, made his debut at 16 with the Odd Future collective, later achieving critical acclaim as a solo artist. His 2013 debut album, Doris, reached No. 5 on the Billboard 200 and No. 1 on Top Rap Albums. His subsequent albums, I Don’t Like Shit, I Don’t Go Outside (2015) and Some Rap Songs (2018), both charted in the top 20 of the Billboard 200 and received widespread acclaim. Live, Laugh, Love, his most recent solo album, was released in August 2025.
