Metric Announce 2026 Tour with Broken Social Scene and Stars, Plus New Album Details
Metric is hitting the road in 2026 with Broken Social Scene and Stars, bringing their indie rock power to the UK, Europe, and Canada. The tour coincides with the release of their 10th studio album, 'Romanticize The Dive'.
Metric fans, get ready! The indie rock icons are embarking on a 2026 tour with fellow Canadian legends Broken Social Scene and Stars, spanning the UK, Europe, and North America.
These tour dates celebrate the upcoming release of Metric's highly anticipated 10th studio album, 'Romanticize The Dive', dropping April 24th via Thirty Tigers. The album announcement was accompanied by the release of the reflective single, ‘Victim Of Luck’.
The tour kicks off in June in the US and now includes a UK and European leg. Fans can catch them at the 3 Olympia Theatre in Dublin on September 9, followed by shows in Glasgow, London, and Manchester. The three bands will then head to Paris, Antwerp, Utrecht, and Berlin, before wrapping up with four Canadian dates.
Tickets go on sale this Friday (March 20) at 10am local time, with pre-sale options starting tomorrow (Tuesday, March 17) at 10am local time. Visit here for UK tickets and here for international shows.

'Romanticize The Dive' marks Metric's first new album since the double release of 'Formentera' and 'Formentera II' in 2022 and 2023. Pre-order the album here.
In a recent interview with NME, frontwoman Emily Haines discussed the new album's direction, explaining a shift towards more direct songwriting. She also reflected on the band's dynamic, highlighting a return to their roots and the essence of their sound.
Regarding the tour with Stars and Broken Social Scene, Haines emphasized a desire to offer fans a unique and joyful experience, moving away from the pressures of commercial success. She hopes the tour will be a "little package of joy" for fans.
