Fred Again.. to Drop Official Footage of Epic B2B Set with Daft Punk's Thomas Bangalter

Fred Again.. is giving fans the chance to relive his unforgettable b2b set with Daft Punk’s Thomas Bangalter, sharing official footage this week.

The live set, which took place last month, marked the final UK stop on Fred’s ‘USB002’ tour, which has seen him perform across the globe, bringing out a host of special guests each night. These included Underworld, Mike Skinner, Joy Anonymous, La Roux, Nia Archives, The Streets, Romy, D Double E, Berwyn, and Ezra Collective.

The tour culminated in a show at London’s Alexandra Palace, where Fred brought out the French DJ and one half of Daft Punk, Thomas Bangalter, for a b2b set. This marked Bangalter’s second live appearance in nearly two decades.

Now, official, pro-shot footage from that night will be available online, premiering tomorrow, Saturday, March 28, at 5pm GMT.

The collaboration at Alexandra Palace followed a previous performance in Paris last October. While the Paris set at the Centre Pompidou featured fewer Daft Punk tracks, the London show included classics like ‘Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger’, ‘Around The World’, and ‘One More Time’.

Other tracks featured were ‘Technologic’, their collaboration with The Weeknd titled ‘Starboy’, and a mash-up of ‘Aerodynamic’, ‘Rollin’ And Scratchin’’ and Fred Again..’s ‘Victory Lap’.

Leading up to the gig, Fred expressed his excitement on social media, calling Bangalter “the greatest” and revealing that they had spent the week in the studio preparing a one-off show.

Fred Again..’s USB series began in 2022, featuring tracks like ‘Baby Again’, ‘Rumble’ with Skrillex & Flowdan, ‘Jungle’, ‘leavemealone’ with Baby Keem, and ‘stayinit’ with Lil Yachty.

‘USB001’ was released in 2024, followed by ‘USB002’ last December. NME awarded the latter four stars, noting its “eternal state of flux” and bridging of the gap between album and playlist formats.
