Frozen Soul Unleashes "No Place Of Warmth" Featuring Gerard Way, Announces New Album

Frozen Soul is back, announcing their highly anticipated third album, No Place Of Warmth. The new record, a followup to 2023's Glacial Domination, is slated for release in May. The Dallas-based death metal powerhouse has dropped the title track, a chilling collaboration with Gerard Way of My Chemical Romance.

According to vocalist Chad Green, "No Place Of Warmth" explores the struggle against life's harshest moments, urging listeners to find inner strength amidst despair. "Life is always coming at you, and death doesn’t stop — you might slow it down, but it’s always coming — so you have to make the best out of it and march on."

Green also shared the story behind the collaboration with Way: "We met Gerard a couple of years ago and have become friends. I knew he had a love for metal, so I spun the idea to him about singing in a Frozen Soul song and he was stoked! Gerard is an amazing artist and musician whose creative vision has shaped generations and more to come."

The music video for "No Place Of Warmth," directed by Brendan McGowen, depicts a character's fight against death, symbolizing resilience and cherishing life's experiences.

No Place Of Warmth was produced by Josh Schroeder and boasts additional features from Machine Head and Sanguisugabogg. The album includes the previously released track "Absolute Zero."
