Harry Styles channels his inner action hero in the new music video for "American Girls," a track from his latest album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally. The video showcases a series of daring stunts, all playfully executed with the help of stunt doubles and green screen magic.
Directed by James Mackel, the video follows Styles through a day on set. He's seen embarking on a cross-country motorcycle trip, skillfully maneuvering a sports car under a semi-truck, sprinting through an explosive-laden desert, and performing a dramatic motorcycle flip against a vibrant sunset.
While the video is packed with high-octane action, it also maintains a sense of charming mundanity. Styles is shown casually transitioning between scenes, snacking with his stunt doubles, and staying hydrated, adding a touch of levity to the spectacle.
The release of the "American Girls" video coincides with the launch of Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally, Styles' fourth studio album and his first since 2022's Harry’s House. He collaborated with longtime partners Kid Harpoon and Tyler Johnson on this new project.
Styles is celebrating the album release with a special concert in Manchester, England, which is being recorded for a Netflix stream on Sunday, March 8, at 3 p.m. ET. Following this, he will appear on Saturday Night Live as both host and musical guest on March 14. His Together, Together tour is set to begin in Amsterdam on May 16.
