The 2026 BRIT Awards took place today, February 28, at its new venue, Manchester’s Co-op Live Arena. Hosted by comedian Jack Whitehall for the sixth consecutive year, the ceremony featured performances from a diverse array of artists including Harry Styles, Rosalía, Olivia Dean, and Raye.
Dean emerged as the night's big winner, securing four awards including Artist of the Year and Album of the Year. Prior to the ceremony, PinkPantheress was named the BRIT Awards’ 2026 Producer of the Year, making history as the youngest artist and first woman to receive this honor.
Alex Warren
Whitehall introduced Alex Warren acknowledging the ubiquity of his hit “Ordinary,” citing its impressive chart performance: 30 weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100, over 2 billion streams, and the UK’s longest-running No. 1 hit in a decade. Warren, accompanied by James Blunt on grand piano, delivered a passionate rendition of the ballad, closing out by thanking his wife.
Ejae, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami
The trio behind KPop Demon Hunters brought their viral song “Golden” to the BRITs. Despite losing International Song of the Year to Bruno Mars and Rosé’s “APT,” their performance resonated with the audience.
Harry Styles
Styles opened the show with the live debut of “Aperture,” the lead single from Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally. Dressed in pinstripe pants, a dress shirt, and a tie, he was backed by dancers and later joined by a choir and live band.
Mark Ronson
Following a montage of testimonials from Christina Aguilera, Q-Tip, and others, Mark Ronson, the recipient of the Outstanding Contribution to Music award, presented a medley of his hits. He began with “Ooh Wee” featuring Ghostface Killah, transitioned to a piano rendition of Amy Winehouse’s “Back To Black,” and expressed gratitude for his work with Winehouse. He also brought out the Dap-Kings for “Valerie” and “Uptown Funk,” and Dua Lipa, perched atop a disco ball, performed a medley of Barbie: The Album’s “Dance the Night” and “Electricity.”
Olivia Dean
Olivia Dean's performance exuded the charm of a hometown show. Performing in front of a sequined wall that read “Loving,” she delivered her hit “Man I Need,” supported by a band with a three-horn brass section. Dean and Sam Fender had already won the 2026 Song of the Year award for their duet “Rein Me In,” setting the stage for her subsequent wins.
Raye
With backup singers, a string section, Raye presented a slowed rendition of “Where Is My Husband!” that transitioned into the live debut of “Nightingale Lane,” both from her upcoming album This Music May Contain Hope.
Rosalía
For the BRITs debut of her LUX lead single “Berghain,” Rosalía recreated the essence of the Berlin club, featuring an orchestra, operatic choir, and a rare appearance by Björk. The performance culminated in a rave with heavy techno bass, offering a preview of Rosalía’s LUX world tour.
Wolf Alice
Wolf Alice lead singer Ellie Rowsell performed “The Sofa” from a 1970s-inspired living room set. Dancers emerged from the couch cushions, lifting Rowsell as the performance unfolded, following their Group of the Year win.
Sombr
Sombr, sporting a pink metallic suit, performed “Undressed” and “Back to Friends” from his debut album I Barely Know Her. The performance included a staged interruption, adding a theatrical element to his set.
