Intruder Arrested at Nicki Minaj's Hidden Hills Estate: What We Know

A man was apprehended early Wednesday after being discovered on Nicki Minaj’s property in Hidden Hills, Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department confirmed the arrest of 36-year-old Leland Adams in Northwest Los Angeles, according to USA Today. Authorities stated that Adams did not enter the home itself.

Jail records indicate that Leland Adams was booked at the Lost Hills station on a misdemeanor charge.

TMZ reported that Minaj was not present at her Hidden Hills residence when the trespassing occurred.

This Hidden Hills home has previously been the focus of legal issues, including an assault lawsuit. In 2024, a judge ruled that Minaj owed $500,000 to German security guard Thomas Weidenmüller due to an alleged assault by her husband, Kenneth “Zoo” Petty, during the Nicki WRLD Tour in 2019.

Initially, Minaj resisted payment, leading to a court order to sell the $20 million Hidden Hills mansion. However, she and Petty avoided the sale by making a last-minute payment to Weidenmüller in January.

The “Super Bass” artist faced another lawsuit in March from 24/7 Productions (USA) Inc., who claimed she failed to pay $275,000 for services related to iHeartRadio’s 2023 Jingle Ball concerts and the Pink Friday 2 launch in December 2023.

According to the production company’s lawyers, despite numerous attempts to collect the outstanding payments over nearly two years, Minaj has not paid any portion of the invoices.

Even with the unpaid initial invoices, the company continued to work on Minaj’s record-breaking Pink Friday 2 World Tour in 2024.

Billboard has contacted the Los Angeles Police Department and Minaj’s representatives for comments on the situation.
