JPEGMAFIA Unleashes Bruising New Single "Babygirl" and Announces Experimental Rap Album & North American Tour
JPEGMAFIA returns with "Babygirl," a hard-hitting single from his upcoming album, Experimental Rap, alongside tour dates.
JPEGMAFIA is back, and he's not holding back. The experimental hip-hop artist has dropped a bruising new single titled "Babygirl," serving as the first taste of his highly anticipated album, Experimental Rap. The track is accompanied by a music video and the album's striking cover art. Experimental Rap, his sixth solo LP, is slated for release on May 21 via AWAL.
Experimental Rap is being touted as an "era-defining magnum opus" and follows up JPEGMAFIA's 2024 album, I Lay Down My Life For You. In 2025, he released the deluxe edition of Lay Down and a collaborative EP with Flume titled We Live in a Society.
Before embarking on his solo tour, JPEGMAFIA is set to perform at four major European festivals this August: Pukkelpop, Lowlands, All Points East, and Electric Picnic.
