Jung Kook of BTS Dances Through NYC in New Calvin Klein Campaign
Jung Kook of BTS is the face of Calvin Klein's new campaign, showcasing '90s jeans with a dance-filled video set in New York City.
Jung Kook of BTS is cutting loose in style as the face of Calvin Klein’s latest campaign. The K-pop star showcases the brand’s ’90s jeans in baggy, relaxed, and straight fits.
The campaign features dynamic visuals of Jung Kook in a New York City record store, where different music genres transport him into dance-filled fantasies.
In one daydream, he's meditating by the ocean. In another, he's bouncing off the walls of an orange room. The final sequence shows Jung Kook channeling Kevin Bacon, dancing to Kenny Loggins’ 1984 Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit “Footloose,” until Rosie Perez, playing a record store employee, brings him back to reality.
“I love Calvin Klein jeans because they’re designed to be lived in,” Jung Kook stated. “The looks I wore for this campaign nod to ‘90s style while feeling completely modern. It was exciting to bring together my love of music, dance and fashion against the energy of the city.”
The campaign coincides with Jung Kook's upcoming album, Arirang, with his BTS bandmates, their first since 2020’s Be, dropping on March 20. A world tour is set to kick off in April in Goyang, South Korea.
This isn't Jung Kook's first collaboration with Calvin Klein. He previously starred in campaigns, including one where he broke the internet with his impressive abs.
