Justin Bieber's Nostalgic Coachella Set: A Throwback to YouTube Viral Moments

Justin Bieber's 2026 Coachella set is making waves, even among other music industry icons.

The 32-year-old pop icon headlined the festival's main stage in Indio, California, on Saturday night (April 11), delivering a performance that blended his chart-topping hits with a nostalgic look back at his early YouTube beginnings.

"Thank God he has Premium. I don’t wanna see no ads," Katy Perry quipped in an Instagram video, capturing her experience watching Bieber's set from the crowd.

Perry, sporting a playful shirt, attended the first weekend of Coachella alongside her boyfriend, former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

The "Teenage Dream" singer wasn't alone in reacting to Bieber's YouTube-inspired segment. Zara Larsson also shared a TikTok video, seemingly from her tour bus, showcasing her viewing a livestream of Bieber's performance as he showcased vintage videos on his laptop.

"It’s giving lets smoke and watch YouTube," Larsson wrote in the clip, where her friends can be seen watching a video of Bieber showing off his viral “double rainbow all the way” video.

"He’s in my dream blunt rotation," the Swedish pop star captioned the post.

Bieber dedicated approximately 25 minutes of his Coachella headlining set to revisiting internet sensations, including clips like “Deez Nuts” and “Double Rainbow.” He also performed snippets of his early hits, such as “Baby,” “That Should Be Me,” and “Never Say Never,” accompanied by their music videos projected on the screen behind him. The highlight was a replay of the video that launched his career: his 2008 cover of “With You.”
