Katseye's Manon Takes Hiatus to Focus on Health and Wellbeing
Katseye member Manon Bannerman is taking a temporary break from group activities to prioritize her health, as announced by Hybe and Geffen Records.

Manon Bannerman, a member of Katseye, the global girl group formed by Hybe and Geffen Records, is stepping back from group activities. This announcement follows Katseye's recent nomination for Best New Artist and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the Grammys, where they also performed.
In a statement released on Weverse, the companies explained that after “open and thoughtful conversations together, we are sharing that Manon will be taking a temporary hiatus from group activities to focus on her health and wellbeing.” Hybe and Geffen Records expressed their full support for this decision, emphasizing that Katseye “remains committed to showing up for one another and for the fans who mean everything to us.”
The group will continue with their scheduled activities during this period, with hopes for Manon's return when the time is right.
When speaking to Rolling Stone back in June about Beautiful Chaos, Manon noted that making their second EP felt “so authentic to who we are right now” in both their lyricism and the manifestation of their artistry. “We’ve paid a lot more attention to detail,” said Manon. “It’s been a really fun experience and it feels authentic to us.”
The group also revealed that they had hired a group therapist to help them navigate the challenges of modern stardom. Last fall, the members of the group shared with the BBC that they had been subjected to a barrage of death threats and online harassment since their debut. At the time, Manon described the experience as “very terrorizing on the mind.”
