Lana Del Rey Drops Dreamy New Single 'White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter' from Upcoming Album 'Stove'
Lana Del Rey has unveiled "White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter," a track from her highly anticipated album, Stove. Co-written with family and produced with Jack Antonoff, the song is already a fan favorite.
Lana Del Rey has shared “White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter,” a new song off her forthcoming album Stove. The track was written by Del Rey alongside her husband Jeremy Dufrene, sister Chuck Grant, and brother-in-law Jason Pickens. Del Rey worked with frequent collaborator Jack Antonoff on the production. Del Rey first announced “White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter” on February 7 via Instagram Stories, calling the single her “favorite song” off Stove and revealing a music video had already been made. As for an album release date, Del Rey said Stove should land sometime “soon. ‘Cause vinyl takes three months, so three months plus two weeks. It could be, give or take, a bit less than that.”
The new album was originally titled Lasso and scheduled to arrive September 2024. Later, Del Rey changed the title to The Right Person Will Stay and set a new release date for May 21, 2025. In August 2025, she pushed back the release again (to January 2026) and renamed it Stove.
