Latto's 'Big Mama' Era Begins: Pregnancy Journey Revealed Ahead of Retirement Album
Latto shares an intimate look at her pregnancy journey in a new video, hinting at the arrival of her first child with 21 Savage, as she prepares to release her final album, 'Big Mama'.
It appears Latto is embracing the 'Big Mama' title in more ways than one. The Atlanta rapper seemingly confirmed the birth of her first child with a heartwarming video documenting her pregnancy journey, released on Monday, May 18th.
The video offers a personal, behind-the-scenes glimpse into Latto's pregnancy, starting from just five weeks when she shares the exciting news with her sister, Brooklyn, during a trip to Japan.
Ultrasound scans and touching moments of Latto revealing her pregnancy to close friends and family are featured. Her partner, 21 Savage, also makes an appearance as the couple hosts a baby shower with celebrity guests including Usher, Sexyy Red, and WNBA star Angel Reese, who all participated in guessing the baby’s gender.
A touching update shows Latto at 37 weeks, expressing her eagerness to meet her baby. "I’m so ready to meet my baby," she said. "I’m never gonna leave when my baby get here. I need $1 million a show because I don’t want to leave the house."
The video concludes with sounds suggesting the delivery room, as she counts down with nurses while being encouraged to push. The baby's gender and name were not revealed in the video.

With her baby seemingly here, Latto is preparing to release Big Mama on May 29th, which she has described as her retirement album.
“5/29 My retirement album Thank you for everything,” the 28-year-old wrote to her fans on X earlier in May after revealing her pregnancy in March.
