Latto is riding high. While fans eagerly await the follow-up to 2024's Sugar Honey Iced Tea, the Atlanta rapper has been busy. Today, she announced her new album Big Mama alongside the single "Business & Personal." The cover art, song, and accompanying video all reveal that she is expecting a baby.
"Business & Personal" sees Latto reflecting on her journey and growth. Over a dreamy, soulful beat, she acknowledges her evolution, rapping, "Fans say they miss the old me but I wouldn’t be here with my old ways." The track then shifts gears, becoming harder and heavier as she declares: "Aye this baby ain’t slowin shit down but the horsepower/ Had to get the rolls and put the lambs up for a while." The video showcases her enjoying life in a mansion, proudly displaying her baby bump. Congratulations to Latto!
