Megan Thee Stallion Rescues Dog From Kill Shelter, Names Him Tyger

Megan Thee Stallion has once again proven she's not just a chart-topping artist but also a compassionate animal lover. The rapper recently rescued a dog from a kill shelter, saving him from imminent euthanasia.
In a heartwarming video shared on Instagram, Meg introduced her new canine companion, revealing her shock at discovering the existence of kill shelters. "I was yesterday years old when I found out that there’s a such thing as a kill shelter, and they are putting down dogs when they can not find them a home,” she shared with her followers.
"That is insane. They were going to put him down yesterday," Meg continued, visibly moved. "And I said, ‘No, wait. Just give him to me. I’ll take him.’"
The hip-hop star, already a devoted dog mom to French bulldog Foe, expressed some playful concern about how her existing pet would react to the new addition. However, she's ultimately thrilled with her growing family, which also includes a Maine Coon kitty named 9 and pup Dos. "Meet my new rescue son TYGER," she captioned the adorable clip.
This heartwarming rescue comes shortly after Meg made her Broadway debut in Moulin Rouge!, stepping into the historically male role of Zidler. On March 24th, she shared a video of her first curtain call, expressing gratitude for the cast, crew, and fans who supported her debut: “So grateful for this incredible cast & crew & everyone who worked so hard to make opening night a success!! HOTTIES IM ON BROADWAY!!"
While fans eagerly await a new album since 2024's Megan, which reached No. 3 on the Billboard 200, The Houston Hottie kept the music coming with singles “Whenever” and “Lover Girl” last year, the latter peaking in the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100.
