Meghan Trainor Cancels 'Get in Girl' Tour to Focus on Family
Meghan Trainor has announced the cancellation of her 'Get in Girl' tour, citing the need to focus on her family and newborn amidst the release of her upcoming album, Toy With Me.

Meghan Trainor has made the difficult decision to cancel her entire Get in Girl Tour. The singer cited the need to focus on her family and newborn child amidst the release of her upcoming album, Toy With Me, due out later this month.
In an Instagram Story post shared on April 16, Trainor explained her decision: "After a lot of reflection and some really tough conversations, I’ve made the difficult decision to cancel The Get in Girl Tour. Balancing the release of a new album, preparing for a nationwide tour, and welcoming our new baby girl to our growing family of five has just been more than I can take on right now, and I need to be home and present for each and all of them at this time."
The Get in Girl Tour, produced by Live Nation, was scheduled to commence on June 12 in Clarkston, Michigan. Trainor was set to perform at 30 arenas and amphitheaters across North America, with support from Icona Pop.
Trainor apologized to her fans, acknowledging their disappointment. "This is the right decision for my family and me right now. I promise I’ll be back soon, and I can’t wait for you to hear this new record. I’m so proud of it, and I’m endlessly grateful for your love and support always."
Toy With Me is slated for release on April 24 via Epic Records. The album features previously released singles including “Get in Girl,” “Still Don’t Care,” and “Shimmer.” This upcoming record marks Trainor’s seventh studio album.
