Muse Launches New Album, 'The Wow! Signal,' Into Space
Muse unveils their upcoming album, 'The Wow! Signal,' with a stratospheric reveal, sending a tablet into the atmosphere to premiere their new single, 'Be With You.'
The band Muse has always embraced technology and sci-fi themes in their music, but now they're taking it to new heights—literally. The alt-rock group announced their new album, The Wow! Signal, by launching a special tablet over 20 miles into the atmosphere in partnership with Sent Into Space.
While the tablet soared above the Earth, Muse premiered the music video for their new single, "Be With You."

The Wow! Signal is set to release on June 26 via Warner. This 10-song LP includes the previously released single "Unravelling" and draws its inspiration from the famous "Wow!" signal interstellar mystery. In 1977, a potent 72-second radio burst, possibly of extraterrestrial origin, was detected from the Sagittarius constellation. An astronomer noted the now-famous sequence “6EQUJ5” and scribbled “Wow!” beside it.
A press release describes The Wow! Signal as "a mix of cosmic mystery, existential hope, and the exhilarating possibility of contact with something far greater than ourselves.” This album marks Muse's tenth studio effort, following up on 2022's Will of the People.
