Both ‘Be With You’ and ‘Unravelling’ will feature on the upcoming album, set to launch on June 26 via Warner. Pre-orders are now open.

‘Be With You’ starts with a dramatic church organ intro, then layers in driving electronica and explodes into blistering guitar rock.

Frontman Matt Bellamy sings: "It seems my light’s been swallowed up, I’ve used up every ounce of luck/ I need to leap into the fire/ Find a higher power, and reach for something new. I feel my life has just begun, it can’t just be with anyone/ It’s got to be with you."

The single is accompanied by a cinematic music video starring Ella Balinska (Resident Evil, The Occupant), directed by Nico Paolillo (Deafheaven, Bad Omens). Watch it here:

According to a press release, ‘The WOW! Signal’ draws its name from a real-life interstellar mystery: a powerful, 72-second radio burst detected in 1977 from the constellation Sagittarius. Its unique bandwidth and intensity sparked speculation about a possible extraterrestrial source.

The astronomer who discovered the anomaly famously circled the sequence ‘6EQUJ5’ and wrote ‘WOW!’ on the printout, giving the signal its name and a permanent place in both scientific and pop culture lore.

The album promises a sonic exploration of cosmic mystery, existential hope, and the thrilling possibility of contacting something far greater than ourselves.

In early 2025, bassist Chris Wolstenholme hinted at the band’s future plans, suggesting they were already considering a new album. “I think we’re gonna start work on the next record fairly soon,” he revealed, noting that they weren’t signed to a label at the time.

“I think for the last few albums we’ve been with Warner and we’ve extended after each album,” the musician continued. “We may do the same again; we may go with a new label, who knows.”

Wolstenholme confirmed that work would begin “very, very soon, like in the next couple of months”. He added: “I would imagine that 2026 will be a new album, barring any disasters.”

Muse embarked on a European tour last year, including a memorable headline set at Madrid’s Mad Cool Festival, stepping in for Kings Of Leon. NME described the show as an “era-spanning, revolutionary space-tacular” with “Matt Bellamy and co easing into their new cycle with riffs and revolution”.
