O Brother, Where Art Thou? Soundtrack Celebrates 25 Years with Star-Studded Nashville Concert
A quarter-century after its release, the iconic 'O Brother, Where Art Thou?' soundtrack was celebrated with a special concert at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, featuring original stars and bluegrass luminaries.

Last year, the Coen Brothers' Southern dramedy O Brother, Where Art Thou? celebrated its 25th anniversary, alongside its equally beloved and star-studded soundtrack. To commemorate this milestone, many of the soundtrack's original artists, along with some special guests, convened at Nashville's Grand Ole Opry Saturday night for a celebratory concert.
While Billy Strings wasn't part of the original soundtrack due to his young age at the time, he joined bluegrass veteran Dan Tyminski for a powerful rendition of "O Death."
Emmylou Harris and Alison Krauss reunited to perform "Didn't Leave Nobody But The Baby," with Molly Tuttle stepping in for Gillian Welch. Krauss also delivered a moving performance of "Down To The River To Pray," while Tim Blake Nelson revisited "In the Jailhouse Now." And, naturally, Tyminski led the crowd in a spirited version of "I Am A Man Of Constant Sorrow."
Here are some clips from the crowd:
