Octo Octa Announces New Album 'Sigils for Survival,' Shares "Survival Groove"

Octo Octa is making a triumphant return with Sigils for Survival, her first solo full-length album in seven years. The album, a follow-up to 2019’s Resonant Body, is set to drop on April 30 via T4T LUV NRG, the label she co-runs with Eris Drew. To whet our appetites, she's released the captivating single “Survival Groove.”

Octo Octa describes Sigils for Survival as a deeply personal and autobiographical project. In a press release, she stated, “As an autobiographical artist, I set out to write an album that would be a milestone for this past decade of joy and sorrow. Sigils for Survival is my attempt to encapsulate the intentions and techniques that I used to move through life into a spell.”

Since Resonant Body, Octo Octa has gifted us with two solo EPs, She’s Calling and Dreams of a Dancefloor, in addition to a split EP with Eris Drew.
