Olivia Rodrigo and Addison Rae joined forces at Coachella for a surprise performance, blending Rae's "Headphones On" with the live debut of Rodrigo's new single, "drop dead."

Yesterday marked the anniversary of Addison Rae's infectious track, "Headphones On," a highlight from last year's music scene. Just prior, Olivia Rodrigo dropped "drop dead," the electrifying lead single from her highly anticipated third album, you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love. All of this converged with Weekend 2 of Coachella, a festival renowned for its unexpected guest appearances.
Rae and Rodrigo seized the moment, linking up during Rae's Coachella set to deliver a memorable performance featuring both of their recent hits.
As Rae performed "Headphones On," the music paused after the line "I compare my life to the new It Girl." Rodrigo then appeared onstage, and the pair completed "Headphones On" before launching into the live debut of "drop dead."
This isn't Rodrigo's first surprise Coachella appearance; two years prior, she joined the reunited No Doubt for a rendition of "Bathwater." See the Rae and Rodrigo performance below.
