Ozzy Osbourne, D'Angelo, and Roberta Flack to be Honored with Tributes at 2026 Grammys
Post Malone, Slash, and Lauryn Hill will lead star-studded tributes to Ozzy Osbourne, D'Angelo, and Roberta Flack at the upcoming 2026 Grammys ceremony.

The 2026 Grammys are shaping up to be an unforgettable night, with special tributes planned for several late music icons. The ceremony will take place on Sunday, February 1st, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, where The Recording Academy will honor the legacies of these influential artists.
In a highlight of the evening, Post Malone will join forces with Guns N’ Roses members Slash and Duff McKagan, along with Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, for a performance dedicated to the legendary Ozzy Osbourne. Producer Andrew Watt, who collaborated with Ozzy on his final two albums, 'Ordinary Man' and 'Patient Number 9', will also join the tribute.

Ozzy Osbourne passed away at the age of 76, leaving behind a monumental impact on heavy metal and popular culture. His final live performance took place in his hometown of Birmingham, raising millions for children’s charities.
Neo-soul icon D’Angelo, and R&B and jazz star Roberta Flack will also be honored. Lauryn Hill will take the stage to celebrate their musical contributions. D'Angelo died in October after a battle with cancer, while Roberta Flack passed away last February after a prolonged battle with ALS.
Roberta Flack
Brandy Clark, Reba McEntire, and Lukas Nelson are scheduled to perform during the “In Memoriam” segment, paying homage to other artists and industry figures who have passed away in the last year.
Grammys
Kendrick Lamar leads this year's Grammy nominations with nine nods for his album 'GNX'. Lady Gaga, Jack Antonoff, and Cirkut follow closely with seven nominations each. Other notable nominees include Leon Thomas, Serban Ghenea, Bad Bunny, and Sabrina Carpenter, all with six nominations.
Sabrina Carpenter was recently announced as one of the first performers at the 2026 ceremony. Trevor Noah will host the Grammys for the sixth consecutive year, marking his final appearance in the role.
The eligibility period for the 2026 Grammys spanned from August 31, 2024, to August 30, 2025. This means that releases after that date, such as Taylor Swift’s ‘The Life Of A Showgirl’, were not eligible for consideration.
