Post Malone, Slash, and Lauryn Hill to Honor Ozzy Osbourne, D'Angelo, and Roberta Flack at 2026 Grammys
The 2026 Grammys will feature tribute performances to Ozzy Osbourne, D'Angelo, and Roberta Flack, led by Post Malone, Slash, Lauryn Hill, and others.
The Grammys are set to honor the legacies of Ozzy Osbourne, D’Angelo, and Roberta Flack with special tribute performances at the upcoming ceremony.
Taking place on Sunday (February 1) at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, The Recording Academy has announced a star-studded lineup to celebrate the late artists.

In a tribute to heavy metal icon Ozzy Osbourne, Post Malone will collaborate with Guns N’ Roses members Slash and Duff McKagan, alongside Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith. Producer Andrew Watt, who worked closely with Osbourne on his final albums, will also join them.
Watt produced Osbourne’s albums ‘Ordinary Man’ (2020) and ‘Patient Number 9’ (2022).
Osbourne passed away at his home in Buckinghamshire last July at the age of 76. Before his death, he helped raise millions for children’s charities with his final live show in Birmingham.
Lauryn Hill will take the stage to honor neo-soul legend D’Angelo, who passed away in October after battling cancer, and R&B and jazz icon Roberta Flack, who died last February after a long battle with ALS.
Brandy Clark, Reba McEntire, and Lukas Nelson will perform during the “In Memoriam” segment, paying tribute to other artists and industry figures who have passed away.

Kendrick Lamar leads this year's nominations with nine nods for his album ‘GNX.’ Lady Gaga, Jack Antonoff, and producer Cirkut follow closely with seven nominations each. Leon Thomas, Serban Ghenea, Bad Bunny, and Sabrina Carpenter each have six nominations.
Sabrina Carpenter was previously announced as a performer for the ceremony, expected to showcase tracks from her album ‘Man’s Best Friend,’ which is nominated for ‘Album Of The Year.’
Trevor Noah returns for his sixth and final year as host, also serving as an executive producer. He is nominated in the Best Audio Book, Narration, and Storytelling Recording category for his children’s story, Into The Uncut Grass.
The eligibility period for the 2026 Grammys spanned from August 31, 2024, to August 30, 2025. This means that records released after that date, including Taylor Swift’s ‘The Life Of A Showgirl,’ were not eligible.
