Ozzy Matilda Osbourne was born on March 5th, a date that adds a poignant layer to her arrival. The couple shared the news via an Instagram post, featuring a sweet video of the newborn. The announcement included details like her birth time (7:49 a.m.), weight (7 pounds, 12 ounces), and length (19 inches).
The birth of Ozzy Matilda comes nearly eight months after the passing of her grandfather, the iconic Ozzy Osbourne, who died in July 2025 at the age of 76. His final performance with Black Sabbath was a charity concert in Birmingham, England, which raised over $11 million for various children's and Parkinson's charities.
Ozzy Matilda is Jack's fifth child, joining siblings Pearl, Andy, Minnie, and Maple.
Last month, Post Malone delivered a memorable tribute to Ozzy Osbourne at the 2026 Grammy Awards, featuring Slash, Duff McKagan, Chad Smith, and producer Andrew Watt performing Black Sabbath's "War Pigs." A tribute also took place at the BRIT Awards, with Robbie Williams and Zakk Wylde performing “No More Tears” and Ozzy’s widow Sharon and daughter Kelly accepting a lifetime achievement award on his behalf.
