Queens of Hip-Hop and R&B Unite: Salt-N-Pepa, TLC, and En Vogue Announce 'It's Iconic' Tour
Get ready for a nostalgic trip back to the 90s as Salt-N-Pepa, TLC, and En Vogue join forces for the 'It's Iconic' tour, bringing their greatest hits to amphitheaters across the US.

The queens are indeed in the building! Cheryl "Salt" James exclaimed, hinting at the high energy and collaborative spirit of the upcoming tour. "We've earned this seat… This show is going to be crazy. We're doing the whole mixtape vibe, coming in and out."
Three of the most successful R&B acts of the 1990s – Salt-N-Pepa, TLC, and En Vogue – are uniting for an epic summer tour, hitting amphitheaters across the United States.
“I feel like this is going to be the most fun touring experience I’ve ever had,” Cheryl “Salt” James shared in a video announcing the tour. The "mixtape vibe" promises a seamless blend of their iconic hits, similar to the format seen in tours by New Edition, Toni Braxton, and Boyz II Men. Expect a high-octane setlist that could jump from “Shoop” to “Waterfalls” to “My Lovin’ (You’re Never Gonna Get It)” without missing a beat.
Salt-N-Pepa have reconciled with Spinderella after a period of estrangement, and she will be part of the tour. En Vogue will feature three of its classic-era members: Terry Ellis, Cindy Herron, and Maxine Jones. Surviving TLC members Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins and Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas continue to tour as a duo after the tragic loss of Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes in 2002. They honor her memory during performances, often playing videos of her iconic moments, such as her rap in "Waterfalls."
“These ladies represent resilience and empowerment,” Ellis stated in the tour announcement video. “To be a part of that is everything. They’re legends.”
While Salt-N-Pepa had hits in the 80s, the show will largely focus on their 90s anthems. Chilli noted the timeless quality of the 90s music, praising the lyrical content and its ability to resonate with audiences of all ages.
The tour kicks off August 15 in Franklin, Tennessee, and concludes October 11 in Concord, California. Chilli emphasized the group's commitment to preparation, stating, “Rehearsals are going to be all of July. We’re going to eat clean. We’re going to exercise and work out. We’re going to release eight hours a day, five days a week.”
