Ray J Reveals Health Crisis: '2027, It's Definitely a Wrap for Me'

Ray J has shared a worrying health update in a resurfaced Instagram Live video, suggesting he may only have a few years left. "2027, it’s definitely a wrap for me,” the 45-year-old stated, attributing this prognosis to his doctor.

In the video, which surfaced from a recent Instagram Live session, Ray J detailed the toll that years of substance abuse has taken on his heart. He mentioned that his heart is "black" on the right side, referencing his past excessive consumption of alcohol (four to five bottles a day) and Adderall (up to 10 doses). He admitted, "I fucked my shit up real bad."

Ray J also revealed that his sister, Brandy, is currently managing his finances. "Shout out to Brandy for looking out for me," he said. He also plans to seek alternative treatment in Haiti. "I think I’m going to Haiti because they got the cure," he stated, adding that he plans to stream the experience.

He expressed regret over not being able to spend more time with his children due to an ongoing legal battle with his wife, Princess Love. "If I could drive over to where my baby mama is with my kids right now and just spend time with them for the next two or three months, I would do that. But I got a criminal protective order where I can’t see them."

In December, Ray J was placed under a restraining order preventing him from contacting Princess Love, following an arrest related to an alleged incident involving a gun during a livestream.

Representatives for Ray J did not immediately respond to Rolling Stone‘s request for comment.
