Rosalía Delivers Powerful Performance at Palestine Benefit Concert in Barcelona
Rosalía made a surprise appearance at a Palestine benefit concert in Barcelona, delivering a moving performance of "La perla" from her recent album LUX.

Last year, Rosalía responded to criticism regarding her silence on the ongoing conflict in Palestine. After Spanish fashion designer Miguel Adrover publicly refused to collaborate with her due to this perceived reticence, Rosalía stated, "The fact that I have not used my platform in line with other people’s style or expectations does not mean that I do not condemn what is happening in Palestine... I do not see how shaming each other is the best way to move forward in the fight for Palestinian freedom." True to her word, she recently demonstrated her support with a surprise performance at a major Palestine benefit concert in her hometown of Barcelona.
The Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona hosted the Concert-Manifest x Palestina, a star-studded fundraiser. According to Catalan News, the event featured performances by Bad Gyal, Tinariwen, Amaia, and Morad, among others. However, Rosalía's unannounced appearance undoubtedly served as a highlight of the evening.
Rosalía Performs at Palestine Benefit Concert
Late last year, Rosalía released her critically acclaimed orchestral album, LUX. While she has promoted the record with several TV appearances and is preparing for a global arena tour in March, her performance at the benefit concert was notably stripped down. Accompanied by a few flamenco musicians, she delivered a powerful rendition of "La perla" from LUX. Her raw talent and emotion resonated deeply with the audience, who welcomed her with a standing ovation and sang along.
