Sabrina Carpenter's 'Sabrinawood' Coachella Debut: Hollywood Glamour and New Music
Sabrina Carpenter delivered a star-studded Coachella performance dubbed 'Sabrinawood,' featuring celebrity cameos and live debuts from 'Man's Best Friend,' though a cultural misunderstanding sparked minor controversy.

Two years after the meteoric rise of "Espresso," Sabrina Carpenter cemented her pop star status with a headlining set at Coachella. Dubbed "Sabrinawood," her performance was a Hollywood-themed extravaganza featuring a cinematic intro with Sam Elliott.
Before the third act, Susan Sarandon delivered a monologue, with an appearance by Corey Fogelmanis. Will Ferrell hilariously played a technician, lamenting his missed opportunity at Stagecoach. A voice cameo by Samuel L. Jackson, along with references to Alfred Hitchcock, The Wizard Of Oz, and Snakes On A Plane, added to the spectacle.
Carpenter treated fans to the live debuts of several tracks from Man's Best Friend, including "When Did You Get Hot?", "We Almost Broke Up Again Last Night," "Such A Funny Way," and "Sugar Talking."
However, the performance wasn't without its hiccups. A moment of controversy arose when an audience member performed a zaghrouta—a celebratory vocalization in Arab cultures—which Carpenter mistook for a yodel, responding with mild distaste. The interaction was reportedly edited out of the Coachella livestream replay.
