Thundercat Announces 'Distracted' Album Featuring A$AP Rocky, Mac Miller, and Lil Yachty; Drops New Single

It's been almost six years since Thundercat dropped a solo album, but the wait is almost over. He's been keeping busy with various projects, including a recent appearance on A$AP Rocky's Don't Be Dumb. Now, he's gearing up to release Distracted this April.
Distracted boasts an impressive list of guest appearances, including Rocky, Tame Impala, Channel Tres, Willow, the late Mac Miller, and Lil Yachty, who is featured on the newly released single "I Did This To Myself."
For Distracted, Thundercat collaborated with pop superproducer Greg Kurstin, with additional production from Flying Lotus, Kenneth Blume, and The Lemon Twigs. "I Did This To Myself" has a polished, hi-fi sound, but the lyrics have raised some eyebrows. The song features lines like, "You a weird chick, you like crystals and shit," directed at a "bad bitch." Yachty adds, "Bitch, stop actin' like you got a real job/ Bitch, that's not a real job/ Takin' those pics in a bra shouldn't jam your schedule."
