Tyla Announces 'A-Pop' Album: Release Date, Trailer, and What to Expect
Tyla is set to release her highly anticipated sophomore album, A-Pop, on July 24th via Epic. Expect a blend of amapiano, dancehall, and Afro-pop influences.
Tyla has officially announced the release date and album title for her upcoming second studio album. A-Pop is slated to drop on July 24th via Epic Records. While the full tracklist remains under wraps, the album promises a vibrant and balmy experience for listeners.
The album will feature the already-released amapiano single “Chanel” and her dynamic dancehall collaboration with Zara Larsson, “She Did It Again.” Tyla has also shared a trailer teasing the A-Pop era as “African,” “Unapologetic,” and “Confident.”
In a February interview with Rolling Stone, Tyla reflected on her journey: “I feel like the first album, it was very hectic, it was a rush. It was like, all of a sudden, overnight craziness. So now that I’m settled in, I feel like I know more about my direction and what I want to do, what I want to say.”

Tyla's self-titled debut album was released in 2024, followed by the WWP EP in 2025. Her discography also includes collaborations with Ayra Starr, Sean Paul, and Wizkid.
