BLACKPINK Teases 'DEADLINE' Mini-Album with Stunning Concept Photos

BLACKPINK has ignited excitement among BLINKs with the release of concept photos for their highly anticipated DEADLINE mini-album. These images offer a glimpse into the sophisticated direction the group is pursuing.

The photos, shared by YG Entertainment, showcase members LISA, JENNIE, ROSÉ, and JISOO in all-white ensembles, playing with textures and layers in grayscale. Eschewing the pink hues of their previous eras, the images focus on close-ups, highlighting striking features like lips, hairstyles, and manicures.

According to a press release, the teaser posters exude a "sensual black-and-white aesthetic" creating "the feeling of a refined work of art.”

DEADLINE, BLACKPINK's first album in over three years since their Billboard 200 chart-topper Born Pink, is set to feature five tracks, including the lead single “JUMP,” which was released in July.

ROSÉ discussed the project on Call Her Daddy, noting that the album reflects their individual growth during their 2024 solo endeavors. "It’s an album that we’ve all kind of obviously come back from after that year of exploring and all being our individual selves,” she said. “And so I think it was really interesting to come back and see what was created after that. I really like all the songs there.”

Prior to the album's release, BLACKPINK reunited for a world tour, performing 33 shows across 16 cities. The tour began in Goyang, South Korea, and included stadium performances in North America, Europe, and Asia, concluding with shows in Hong Kong in January.
