Bryan Cranston's 'Dracula' Lip-Sync Goes Viral: A Theatrical Masterclass

Bryan Cranston has gone viral for his “charismatic” lip-sync performance of Tame Impala and JENNIE’s ‘Dracula’.

The track was first released on **Tame Impala**’s fifth studio album ‘Deadbeat’ last year and the remix with **BLACKPINK** member **JENNIE**’s soft, captivating vocals landed in February.

The JENNIE mix has become a massive success on TikTok with hundreds of thousands of users lip-syncing in a deadpan or overly dramatic fashion to the lyrics – but not many have caught the imagination like the Breaking Bad and Malcolm In The Middle star.

Filmed backstage at a theatre, the clip sees Cranston switching between a sassy strut down a corridor and wearing Walter White’s ‘Heisenberg’ pork pie hat.

Many have praised the actor’s ability to inhabit the character of the song, with one social media user writing: “People in the comments like ‘he’s so good at this’ mama, that’s when you can see a real actor who’s been taught in the art of modulating your words vs amateur actors who never did theatre”.

**Cranston** recently made a return to Malcolm In The Middle as part of the revival series Life’s Still Unfair, which is streaming on Disney+ in the UK now. Show creator Linwood Boomer has said the possibility of a second new season depends on whether it hits a “certain number” of viewers.

“Well, it depends on how it does,” he explained. “There’s a certain number, and I don’t even know what it is, and I don’t even know what it’s measuring, but some piece of data has to hit a certain number, and if it’s one shy, they won’t ask, and if it’s one over, they will ask, but not until then.

As for Tame Impala, ‘Deadbeat’ received a three-star review from NME when it arrived last year, which noted: “Parker has grown outside his comfort zone, only to strike a kind of lyrical inertia that becomes detrimental to his new vocabulary of music”.

Kevin Parker is headling over to the UK and Europe in the coming weeks, including a stop at the O2 Arena on May 7, followed by visits to Manchester (8), Birmingham (9) and Glasgow (11) and Dublin (13). Visit here for remaining European tickets, and here for UK tickets.

As for JENNIE, the K-Pop star has solo appearances planned for Mad Cool, Governors Ball and more this summer to celebrate her most recent solo record, 2025’s ‘Ruby’.
