Country Music Reunion: Kacey Musgraves and Miranda Lambert End Decade-Long Feud with Gruene Hall Duet
Kacey Musgraves and Miranda Lambert, once rumored to be at odds, shared the stage at Gruene Hall to perform their new duet, marking a significant moment in country music.

It's a moment akin to Jay-Z and Nas performing "Black Republican" for the first time. For a decade, Texan country stars Kacey Musgraves and Miranda Lambert were rumored to be in conflict. Their issues reportedly stemmed from Musgraves co-writing "Mama's Broken Heart," a song she initially wanted for herself. However, Lambert recorded it and achieved a hit in 2013.
Those tensions appear to be behind them, culminating in the collaboration on "Horses And Divorces" from Musgraves' latest album, Middle Of Nowhere.

Recently, Kacey Musgraves launched a major arena tour, prefaced by a series of intimate performances at Gruene Hall, a historic 800-capacity venue near Austin. These shows featured the teenage mariachi trio who had been previously detained by ICE.
During the final show, Musgraves invited Miranda Lambert to join her on stage for "Horses And Divorces."
Footage from the performance reveals a palpable camaraderie between Kacey Musgraves and Miranda Lambert, seemingly dispelling any prior animosity. The Austin Chronicle notes that Musgraves introduced the song by jokingly telling the crowd, "We’re both dumb bitches, honestly."
Musgraves has also released two bonus tracks from Middle Of Nowhere, titled "Caballero" and "All My Exes (Kacey's Version)." The latter is Musgraves' reimagining of the George Strait classic. These tracks are currently available for purchase on Musgraves' website and iTunes.
Middle Of Nowhere is available now on Lost Highway.
