Stevie Nicks and Sabrina Carpenter Unite for 'Landslide' Duet at the Met Gala 2026

Sabrina Carpenter and Stevie Nicks shared the stage at the Met Gala last night, enchanting the audience with a duet of Fleetwood Mac’s timeless hit, “Landslide,” originally released in 1975. The performance was a highlight of an evening filled with fashion and music at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Carpenter initiated the evening with a medley of her popular tracks, including “House Tour,” “Espresso,” and “Please, Please, Please.” Following Carpenter's performance, Nicks, the evening's headliner, graced the stage in the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Egyptian wing. She invited Carpenter back to the stage for a moving rendition of “Landslide,” and also joined forces for “Don’t Stop Thinking About Tomorrow.” Nicks also captivated the audience with solo performances of her iconic songs “Gypsy” and “Edge of Seventeen.”
Carpenter recently headlined two weekends at Coachella, where she shared the stage with Madonna. The pair debuted their new single, “Bring Your Love,” during the festival, with Madonna making a surprise appearance. The dance track, a collaboration between Madonna and Stuart Price, is slated to appear on Madonna’s upcoming LP, Confessions II, set for release on July 3 via Warner Records. They also performed “Vogue” and “Like a Prayer.”
Carpenter’s Coachella performances were noted for their numerous Hollywood references, a theme she carried into the Met Gala with her red carpet attire. Her Dior dress, crafted by Jonathan Anderson, paid tribute to Audrey Hepburn’s 1954 film Sabrina, incorporating actual film strips from the movie. Carpenter shared with Vogue that Anderson conceived the design following their collaboration on her Coachella outfits, adding that Sabrina remains one of her all-time favorite films.
