Ice Spice Responds to McDonald's Altercation with New Track Teaser

On Friday night, Ice Spice addressed a viral video showing her involved in an altercation at a McDonald's earlier in the week. She took to social media to seemingly tease an unreleased song.

Reposting the video on X, Ice Spice included a snippet of the track with the caption: “This wouldn’t happen at a Wendy’s,” nodding to her former employment. Her social media bios on both X and Instagram playfully describe her as a “@wendys princes.”

The incident gained traction after TMZ released a video of Ice Spice sitting in a McDonald’s booth in Hollywood on Wednesday morning. The video shows a woman approaching Ice Spice and her friend, attempting to sit with them before being turned away. Following a brief exchange, the woman appears to strike the Grammy-nominated artist, leading to a scuffle. Ice Spice is then seen pursuing the woman outside of the restaurant.

Ice Spice’s attorney, Bradford Cohen, told TMZ: “The unprovoked attack on my client has been reported to the LAPD and we will be pursuing any and all avenues to hold the perpetrators responsible for their actions, including criminally and civilly. We are also exploring holding the location responsible for their lack of appropriate security.”

Speaking with Billboard, Cohen added, “Not to mention that the individuals involved obviously did not realize that we would get the video from inside the McDonald’s where the unprovoked attack occurred. They then turned their cameras on after the initial attack as if to set our client up, and as they say on the video to ‘go viral.’ The only thing that will be going viral for them is their mugshots.”
