Kid Bookie has joined forces with Corey Taylor on his latest single, ‘Blame,’ a raw and introspective track that the South-East London rapper describes as “a therapy session.”

The new track arrives after Kid Bookie's comeback earlier this year with ‘Rose McGowan,’ an empowering single featuring the actress and activist Rose McGowan.

Now, he's reunited with the Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman, Corey Taylor, pushing his sonic boundaries further by tackling themes of accountability, growth, and self-reflection.

The song is the latest preview of Kid Bookie's upcoming album, slated for announcement later in 2026. In ‘Blame,’ Bookie delivers a powerful rap, expressing feelings of frustration and regret, before Taylor enters with a memorable chorus: “Oh my god/It’s like it won’t just stop/You’re always blaming me/For always blaming you.

This isn't the first collaboration between Bookie and Taylor. They previously worked together on ‘Stuck In My Ways’ (2019) and ‘Game’ (2022). Kid Bookie also collaborated with Corey's son, Griffin Taylor, on ‘Get Out’ last year.

Reflecting on the inspiration behind ‘Blame,’ Kid Bookie said: “Over the years, facing myself and the reflection that comes with the mirror isn’t always an easy one. Accountability is the removal of ego and pride to see beyond your own nose, to allow yourself the room to grow via ownership of your actions.”

He added, “I’m around some of the best people who practice that in more ways than one. Corey and I have been working with each other for nearly a decade, but I feel this record is a coming of age, even for us. New territory, but a familiar approach to make sure we embolden each other through music.

“This song is almost a therapy session for me, and not just via my own lyrics, but to how Corey has made me feel by exposing himself so bare in this record, truly an honor to keep pushing the envelope with someone who has just pushed it as far as it can go, but has completely revamped what the envelope fucking is.”

Taylor also expressed his admiration for the London artist: “Bookie is one of my favorite people, not just artists, and every time he comes to me with an opportunity to create with him, I’m always excited because I know I’m going to hear something I’ve never heard before.

“‘Blame’ was so good the first time I heard it, I signed on without even knowing what I’d do! I’m proud of the song, and I’m proud of him, and grateful to be involved.”

The confidence and boundary-pushing spirit of ‘Blame’ extends to Kid Bookie's forthcoming album, promising vulnerability and intense energy.

In January, Kid Bookie and Rose McGowan discussed their collaboration on ‘Rose McGowan’ with NME. Kid Bookie explained that he named the song after the author and activist—even before she agreed to collaborate—because of her resilience and bravery.

“Rose is just pure punk, and that’s rock n’ roll as you come, So having a moment in rock music where Rose is attached to it felt natural,” he said. “It’s two people that have very don’t-give-a-fuck attitudes, but who really do care [about authenticity in art].

Regarding his upcoming album, he added: “I’ve been every shade of a man I don’t want to be, so this is about me seeing what I can do to be the man I want to be today. I’m going through this life and growing, and this is what this project encapsulates.

“Even this song with Rose, it’s about growth. I’ve been everything I don’t want to be, so I now know who I want to be going forward.”
