Knocked Loose and Denzel Curry Unleash 'Hive Mind': A Metalcore-Trap Collision
Knocked Loose have dropped a blistering new single, 'Hive Mind,' featuring Denzel Curry, blending metalcore intensity with trap energy. Check out the explosive collaboration.

Knocked Loose have unleashed their new single ‘Hive Mind’ in collaboration with Denzel Curry, along with a music video.
The exhilarating track fuses metalcore and trap elements, with Curry delivering a rapid-fire verse that complements Knocked Loose frontman Bryan Garris's vocals.
The Kentucky band initially teased the collaboration earlier in the week with a video on Instagram:
The video, co-directed by Eric Richter and Garris, was filmed in Knocked Loose’s hometown of Louisville, Kentucky at the David Armstrong Extreme Park. Watch it below:
“This is something we’ve talked about doing for a long time,” said Garris. “We wondered if we could pull it off and who would be down. In the very beginning, we said for it to work, it would have to be Denzel Curry. Because he gets it.”
The release is the band’s first single since their 2024 album, ‘You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To’, which featured the Grammy-nominated Poppy collaboration ‘Suffocate’.
Reflecting on working with Poppy, Garris told NME last year: “We realised that it was a curveball for a lot of our listeners. So, our way to balance that was to make this song insane, to the point where you’re laughing at how heavy some of these breakdowns are.”
He also hinted at their future direction: “There’s been a lot of processing of how amazing some of these moments have been. But there’s never been any conversation about lightening up. We’re a heavy band and we’re always going to be a heavy band.
“If anything, that attention makes us want to double down. We see people reacting positively to all of this chaos that we’re introducing to our sound and we get inspired by that feedback, inspired by past extremes working. That’s how it will stay.”
Following their UK and European tour last year, Knocked Loose are set to return to Europe this summer, supporting Metallica and Bring Me The Horizon, and performing at Slam Dunk Festival and Primavera Sound. They will also be playing Sick New World in Las Vegas in April and in Dallas in October.
