Lauryn Hill's Diaspora Calling! Festival Lands in the UK: Wyclef Jean & Family Join the Lineup
Lauryn Hill is bringing her acclaimed Diaspora Calling! festival to the UK for the first time, with Wyclef Jean, YG Marley, and Zion Marley already confirmed for the Milton Keynes event.

Lauryn Hill has announced that her massive Diaspora Calling! festival is coming to Milton Keynes, with the first wave of artists now confirmed.
The Fugees singer and rapper will bring the festival, dedicated to music and culture from the African diaspora, to the Milton Keynes National Bowl on Friday, August 7. Diaspora Calling! began in 2016 and has previously hosted the likes of Nas, Kehlani, Noname, and Little Simz.
This marks the festival's first time being held in the UK, and is Hill’s only confirmed UK performance for 2026.
So far, in addition to Hill headlining, fellow Fugees member Wyclef Jean is on the bill. Hill’s sons, YG Marley and Zion Marley – who are also the grandchildren of reggae icon Bob Marley – are also scheduled to perform.
More artists will be added to the lineup soon, with Hill promising some "very special guests."

Recently, Hill led a tribute to the late D’Angelo and Roberta Flack at the 2026 Grammys’ ‘In Memoriam’ segment.
Hill previously collaborated with neo-soul icon D’Angelo on ‘Nothing Even Matters’ from her seminal 1998 album ‘The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill’ – a song she mentioned they never performed live together.
“We never had a chance to do this on stage together,” she said that night. “Make time for people you love while you can,” she added, before introducing his band, The Vanguard, and launching into the performance.
Notably, The Fugees’ cover of Flack’s ‘Killing Me Softly With His Song’ remains one of their biggest hits, which Hill also performed at the Grammys.
In other news, Lauryn Hill has been nominated for the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame 2026.
