The prolific Little Simz has a new EP on the horizon. Sugar Girl, her first release since last year’s Lotus, arrives next Friday, May 8, via AWAL. Simz shared a teaser, featuring a verse from an unreleased song, via Instagram.
Sugar Girl continues Simz's pattern of releasing impactful EPs, with Drop 7 in 2024 preceding No Thank You. Since Lotus, she curated London’s Meltdown festival, toured North America, and appeared alongside Cillian Murphy in Steve, the Netflix adaptation of Max Porter’s Shy.
