Madison Beer's 'Locket' Unlocks Top 10 Debuts on Billboard Charts

Madison Beer's latest studio album, Locket, has made a splash, securing top 10 debuts across five Billboard album charts. This marks a significant milestone for Beer, achieving her first-ever top 10 placements on the Billboard 200 (No. 10), Indie Store Album Sales (No. 2), Top Current Album Sales (No. 4), and Top Album Sales (No. 4). Additionally, Locket claimed the No. 3 spot on Vinyl Albums, her second top 10 on that chart.

In the tracking week ending Jan. 22, Locket garnered 43,000 equivalent album units, according to Luminate, representing Beer's best week in terms of units earned. Album sales accounted for 24,000 of that sum (her best sales week ever), with 15,000 attributed to vinyl purchases (her best week on vinyl). Streaming-equivalent album units contributed 18,000 (equaling 18.89 million on-demand official streams), also her best streaming week. Track-equivalent album units made up a negligible portion.

Locket is among six albums debuting or re-entering the Top Album Sales chart's top 10. ENHYPEN secured its fourth No. 1 with THE SIN : VANISH, while Bad Bunny's DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS re-entered at No. 2 following a new Amazon-exclusive vinyl release. A$AP Rocky's Don’t Be Dumb debuted at No. 3, and Stray Kids' DO IT fell to 2-5. DxS’ DxS 1 st Mini Album ‘Serenade’ began at No. 6, the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack slipped 6-7, Olivia Dean’s The Art of Loving fell 5-8, The Protomen’s Act III: This City Made Us launched at No. 9 and KATSEYE’s Beautiful Chaos is a non-mover at No. 10.
