Megan Thee Stallion and Klay Thompson have ended their relationship. The Houston Hottie confirmed the split shortly after posting allegations of infidelity on her Instagram Stories.
In a statement shared with Billboard, Megan stated, "I’ve made the decision to end my relationship with Klay. Trust, fidelity, and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship, and when those values are compromised, there’s no real path forward. I’m taking this time to prioritize myself and move ahead with peace and clarity."
The initial hint of trouble surfaced on Megan's Instagram Stories, where she alluded to the breakup.
"Cheating, had me around your whole family playing house… got ‘cold feet,'" one post read. "Holding you down through all your HORRIBLE mood swings and treatment towards me during your basketball season now you don’t know if you can be ‘monogamous’?????"
She concluded with, "b-- I need a REAL break after this one .. by yall."

The artist, currently performing in Broadway's Moulin Rouge!, and the Dallas Mavericks player began dating in summer 2025. Megan had previously described their initial meeting as "a meet cute" and lauded Thompson as "the nicest person I’ve ever met in my life." The couple made their red carpet debut in New York City in July.
By Thanksgiving of that year, Thompson had even christened his boat "SS Stallion" in her honor, and they spent the holiday with his family.
In February 2026, Megan playfully declared she was "manifesting my engagement" (presumably to Klay) in a video filmed in Milan alongside Olympic athletes Brittany Bowe and Hilary Knight, who are engaged.
